Johnson's on Borrowed Time - ALBA Party

Reacting to the news that Boris Johnson has survived a vote of no confidence ALBA Westminster Group Leader Neale Hanvey MP said:

“Johnson may be living on borrowed time, having won this vote, but it is the people of Scotland who are the real losers this evening."

“The tragedy is that we are stuck with a Prime Minister Scotland did not elect and in whom the people of Scotland have absolutely no confidence."

“We should not be surprised that Scottish Tory MPs cast their votes in order to save their own political skins rather than to restore decency and integrity to politics."

“This government and this Prime Minister are inflicting real damage on our economy and society. The only way that Scotland will always get the government it votes for and finally see the back of charlatans like Johnson is with Independence.”
