ALBA Party projected to Breakthrough in the Scottish Parliament

A poll published today by Survation projects there to be a pro-independence majority at the next Scottish Parliament election. 

This is the first Survation poll to show ALBA Party representation at Holyrood with the fledgling party projected to pick up one seat. 

Responding to the poll, an ALBA spokesperson said:

“As we approach our fourth birthday as a political party, this is the first time that Survation have projected ALBA gaining representation in the Scottish Parliament. They are now the third polling company forecasting a historic ALBA breakthrough at next years election.

“This is good news for the Independence movement and good news for Scotland. Every single ALBA MSP elected will be tasked with holding the Scottish Government’s feet to the fire on their Independence timetable.

“It could not come at a more important time for our Nation. Austerity is back with a vengeance however this time it is wearing a red rosette. Our energy resources are being plundered all while hundreds of thousands of Scots are languishing in fuel poverty. 

“That is why the next election must be used as the democratic test to deliver Independence for Scotland.”
