Christmas Message from ALBA Party Chair, Tasmina Ahmed-Sheikh

Christmas is the best known festival of all in the Christian calendar but the sentiments it embraces should be and are celebrated by those of all religions and none.

The joy of giving (and receiving), the hope of new birth and the coming New Year. These are things we all carry together just as we give a thought for those in great difficulty in Scotland and overseas.

Christmas I know is a time for children and family but of course we are all children at heart and really all part of one family.

So to you and yours and on behalf of the ALBA Party may I wish you all a very Merry Christmas - and God Bless us every one.
