1.NOTICE Members Meeting Mon Jan 22 @ 6.30pm
We look at how each of us can maximise our campaigning efforts. What can we do to help you? Can we help you organise a Fundraising event? Perhaps a pub quiz, a Coffee morning, or a Trad music event?
2. SOCIAL Burns Boogie - Fri, Jan 26th 7pm
A few days after our members meeting, it's the first in-person event of the year.
Not a full Burns supper (no formal dress required) Vice Convenor Hamish Vernal will address the Haggis, followed by a finger buffet. Keeping the food light, we boogie our way to some disco sounds themed with a nod to the Bard. Join us for a night full of fun 7pm at the Rusty Nail, Rosemount Viaduct, Aberdeen. 3. National Council (morning) 2 members each LACU.
(Afternoon) Yes Road to Independence meeting. Both at Chartis Centre, Edinburgh on Saturday, Jan 27th
Our January meeting will touch on the upcoming Edinburgh meeting with the broader Yes movement Titled 'Yes Road to Independence' full details in your weekly members email, the Party web site or HERE Can any of our Shire members share transport to the event?
4. New Local Executive Office Bearer Committee
Find out what's involved in being a local office bearer. Do you fancy a stint at Organisation, Secretarial assistance, or perhaps Youth, Desk top publishing, Publicity or Woman's officer in our LACU? No experience is necessary, just a drive to involve more members across the Shire.
5. NOTICE of AGM - Monday, Feb 19th
Next month, we hold our 3rd AGM online. All members can vote on who is elected (or re-elected) locally as Office Bearers in the newly convened Aberdeenshire Campaign Executive Group.
Guest speaker will be the Party's newly elected National Organisation Convenor Rob Thomson.
