Nuclear Power

• The ALBA Party calls for a halt to the extension of regulations to permit doubling of cracks in the reactor core at Hunterston Nuclear Power Station (from a maximum of 350 to 700) and any other nuclear power station in Scotland.

Furthermore, ALBA calls for a halt to the importation of any form of nuclear waste and for the Scottish Government to refuse co-operation with any expansion of nuclear power in Scotland.
