The Scottish Government forced through controversial reforms to the Gender Recognition Act which if they come into law would allow people to change their gender simply by Self Declaration.

These proposals are overwhelmingly opposed by a majority of the people of Scotland.

In light of the Court of Sessions decision, the Scottish Government should take no further legal action and instead should axe the Gender Recognition Reform Act.

Various high-profile incidents have shown us that the legislation is not fit for purpose and is a risk to the privacy, dignity and safety of women and girls.

The Scottish Government must end its gender reform obsession and get back to concentrating on issues that matter to the people of Scotland.
