It’s time for the Scottish Government to focus on Self Determination and spend less time obsessed with Gender Self Identification. Sign our petition to #AxeTheGenderBill

The Scottish Government forced through controversial reforms to the Gender Recognition Act which if they come into law would allow people to change their gender simply by Self Declaration.

These proposals are overwhelmingly opposed by a majority of the people of Scotland.

- 60% oppose the decision to remove the need for medical examination.
- 59% oppose reducing the time applicants must have lived in their acquired gender from 2 years to 6 months (made up of a 3 month period, with an additional 3-month reflection period).
- 66% oppose reducing the age a person can apply for a gender recognition certificate from 18 years to 16 years.

The Scottish Government must end its gender reform obsession and get back to concentrating on issues that matter to the people of Scotland.
